Hard Work, Sweet Smiles

PASAN ANG ASAROL - early morning
on his way to harvest cassava
(In a small town called Bulusan in Sorsogon)

BAMBOO BURDEN - carrying fresh cut

bamboo to be used in his house
(At the foot of Mt. Maculot, Cuenca, Batangas)

LINES ON HER FACE - I can never
imagine what she went through as
this old woman displayed a sad
but sweet smile
(Also in Cuenca, Batangas)

Sandra,
Thanks for visiting. It feels nice that you like the photos :-) Old farm folk are always nice to shoot as they are full of calm energy. Most of all they are beautiful people!

I just love this collection of 'people photos'!
You are doing a great job in capturing the Filipino spirit through pictures! Keep it up! (Dito hirap kumuha ng pictures ng mga tao...mga suplado/suplada halos lahat.) :-)
