I think this is a really depressing picture, but I wasn't depressed here :-) My mom took pictures of me while I was staring at the waves (it was her first digital camera experience).

Depressing? How so? A mere act of being alone is not depressing. (And you weren't even alone!) It looks more meditative/contemplative to me.
i think its the dark horizon, the waves and the total gloominess of the picture - all these contribute to its depressed mood.
Tingin ko nga di ka depressed don sa picture. Iniisip mo lang kung talagang wise sumakay sa LRT parati. :-) (Corny!)
Anyway, I just want to say galing din ni Mama mo kumuha ng picture a!
